I.C.E.

I.C.E. Mission

The Intergovernmental Committee of Experts (ICE) is the decision-making organ of the ECA Office for North Africa. It includes representatives of the seven Member States of the sub region and meets annually to define and monitor the implementation of the work programme of the ECA Office in North Africa. At each I.C.E. meeting, Government representatives adopt a report, which contains the deliberations of the meeting and the recommendations they made, that would be submitted to the ECA Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development for consideration and adoption.

I.C.E. Member States

Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Sudan and Tunisia.

I.C.E. Methods of Work

The I.C.E. meets once a year and at each meeting a President, a Vice - President and a Rapporteur are elected for a one year mandate.

The 25rd session of the I.C.E. meeting will be held in Rabat, Morocco, from 19 to 19 March 2010.
